Performing Arts
Performing Arts is an all volunteer run after school drama program designed and run by McNear parents for McNear students. Ours is the only performing arts program of its kind in the District! Please consider taking advantage of this fabulous confidence and character building experience.
Our program has become so popular with the McNear Village that enrollment numbers are very high. Because of this fantastic participation level, the program has been split into Primary (1-3 graders) and Secondary (4-6 graders). We have found from experience that the kindergarteners still need to grow before participating in this program. For that very reason, we have instituted another small change from previous years, in that we are for the first time, offering the Secondary program in the Fall, and the Primary program in the Spring (which allows the first graders to learn from the upperclassmen, and to grow into their roles for the Spring show).
Rehearsals typically begin for the Fall show shortly after school starts. Linked below you will find a form that you can download and print out for registration purposes. You may mail your form to the address shown on the form, or deliver it to the school office. The Spring show rehearsals will start shortly after the Winter break. Thank you for your interest and participation in our all volunteer program. We COULD NOT do it without you!
