Volunteer Opportunities 2010-2011

Welcome to another fabulous year at McNear Elementary!  There are so many ways to enrich your child's experience at McNear school, and becoming a volunteer may be the most rewarding.  Giving just a few hours of your time can make a huge difference in the lives of our children.  Many volunteering opportunities will be available throughout the year, which include mentoring students, working in the garden, helping wtih Poetry Week or the Talent Show, fundraising, or simply baking goods or hanging posters for various events.  A  Volunteer Form enumerating the various volunteering opportunities will be going home with your child soon, so please keep an eye out for it!  In the meantime, please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or ideas you may have about volunteering this year.  With your help, we can make this another great year for our kids!.
